At a conference entitled “Cancer & Personalized Medicine Conference” on 16th of October at Divani Caravel by HealthDaily and Boussias Communications, Sigmasoft participates as a sponsor and exhibitor. Our company aims to highlight its collaboration with the Swiss company Clinerion and the potential of utilizing IT systems in Clinical Studies in the field of Oncology. Sigmasoft, as Clinerion’s official representative in Greece & Cyprus, has successfully promoted Clinerion’s information systems in university, public and private hospitals. The purpose of these partnerships is to support the automated patient pre-selection process to participate in international and national Clinical Trials. This year’s conference, which takes place for 5th year has a central theme “A policy debate on the value & cost of treatment” and will focus on the policies to be adopted at the level of prevention, diagnosis and treatment, in order to reduce the financial burden associated with the disease and to ensure that patients have access to effective treatments and improve the quality of the care provided to them. The conference will consist of 4 sessions, with the participation of distinguished speakers from the Ministry of Health, Academics and Researchers in the field of Oncology and representatives of Pharmaceutical Associations. Sigmasoft’s participation was completed successfully in the two-day conference: HealthIT2019:”Forming the National Digital Health Strategy” The conference took place at Evgenidio Foundation at 16-17th of April 2019, under the aegis of Ministry of Health, in cooperation with HL7 Hellas, e-government social security (IDIKA AE), the Hellenic Association of Health and FORTH (Foundation for Research & Technology – Hellas). The conference focused on the National Interoperability Framework between Public and Private Health Service Providers, with significant developments in issues such as Personal Electronic Health Record, Big Health Data, GDPR, the RIS-PACS. More than 500 delegates attented the conference, while 1078 people watched it live via live media. At the conference Head of Clinerion fro EEMEA Region Mr. Baris Erdogan, presented the operation of digital platform PNEx, for the first time in Greece, mentioning its capabilities, since it automates the process of finding potential patients for their involvement in Clinical Trials by utilizing anonymized patients’ medical records. Moreover, Mr. Alexandros Kekelis, CTO of Sigmasoft SA, presented the capabilities and benefits of the MedExpress medical software solution to the day-to-day operation of private clinics as well as primare care clinics. Sigmasoft participates as sponsor and exhibitor at the 2nd Health IT Conference organized on 16th & 17th April by netweek, the Health Daily of Boussias Communications, and the Ministry of Health (General Secretariat for Public Health) at the Eugenides Foundation Amphitheater. The company, which specializes in software development and comprehensive IT solutions, will have the opportunity to highlight its recent strategic partnership with the Swiss company Clinerion at the Health IT Conference. Sigmasoft, as official representative of Clinerion in Greece & Cyprus, has undertaken to promote Clinerion’s information systems, which support the automated patient selection process,to participate in international and national Clinical Studies. This year’s theme event “The National Digital Health Strategy” will focus on the eGovernment of the NHS and the National Interoperability Framework between Public Health and the Private Sector. The aim is the eHealth strategy to be analyzed and to integrate Quality and Enhancement of Administrative Informatics. Within the framework of the Conference, IT projects will be presented by Information Technology Officers of Hospitals, and Healthcare Regions and health professionals involved in the upgrading of digital transformation while for the first time seminars / workshops will be organized to provide guidance on how to implement specific projects. It is noteworthy that more than 400 executives from the healthcare regions of the country, from public hospitals and health centers, representatives of Health and Information Technology organizations and organizations, as well as a large number of its businesses, attended the two-day Health IT Conference 2018. Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Sigmasoft & Clinerion

Sigmasoft announces the launch of a strategic partnership with the Swiss company Clinerion as its official representative in Greece and Cyprus, to provide its information systems, which aim at speeding up the process of selection of patients involved in clinical research. Clinerion is a global leader in health informatics, particularly in the field of utilization medical data, with activity in 16 countries. The company has developed and provides the groundbreaking platform Patient Network Explorer, which improves the effectiveness of clinical trials, by searching for suitable patient candidates, in real-time and in multi-hospital networks using the electronic patient hospital records (EHRs). As part of their cooperation, Sigmasoft SA and its technical team will support Clinerion in Greece and Cyprus in the integration of hospitals, clinics and polyclinics on the Patient Network Explorer platform. Clinerion will offer hospitals in Greece and Cyprus access to its information system through which they will be able to collect anonymized patient data, in order to identify the appropriate patients who will participate in clinical trials. The parallel aim is to achieve indirectly, direct access to the patients in innovative treatments and new effective medicines. Already by 2018, the Hygeia Group and Athens Medical Group have been added to Clinerion’s worldwide network of collaborating nursing clinics and with the help of Sigmasoft SA, a significant number of hospitals will be added in 2019, contributing substantially to the development of the Clinical Studies Division in Greece & Cyprus.
