A new important award came to congratulate the effort of the development team of SIGMASOFT. The Bronze Award of the “Healthcare Business Awards 2016” contest, for the “health – digital Healthcare Professional support applications” category, was awarded to the medical software “MedExpress”.
MedExpress is the medical software that full interoperates with the national system of “Electric Prescription”. The software provides the physician with all the necessary functions for a more automated function of his practice. Aim of the software, the integrated execution, observation & statistical analysis of the everyday medical acts of the modern practice and the full tracking of patient’s treatment course.
At the award ceremony, which took place on Tuesday 13th of September at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso, the award was received by the CEO of the company Mr. George Stefanidis, who stated: “We would like to specially thank the jury committee for the honor of this award. This award is perceived as a challenge for SIGMASOFT, who consistently keeps investing in innovating technological solutions and services for the complete coverage of healthcare professionals needs. Software development in the e-Health sector is a strategic choice for us. With an anthropocentric approach and the use of the most modern tools in Information Systems are ambition is to keep standing beside healthcare professionals with the property of the “partner” and not just as capable “providers”.
MedExpress is currently being used by more than 3.000 physicians of the private sector all over Greece, who are certified users of the national e-Prescription system. MedExpress is the 1st medical software of the Greek Market in installations-purchases.
